Dr. Judson Brewer makes the case that we can control anxiety by changing our thoughts. He also makes the connection between anxiety and addiction. Feeling overwhelmed by worry is a part of my daily life and I‘ve noticed it‘s become a habit that I need to break. Nearly an addiction to these horrible thoughts at this point. So this book did help me take a step back and reflect on how I may be able to take control. Still working on that though.
