Received this via #LibraryThing #EarlyReviewers. Author uses family history of bootlegging as a basis for this book, but draws on a miscellany of information on moonshine ranging from how stills were made to Jake leg to flame tests for moonshine impurities and so on. As such there were a lot of interesting tidbits, but not really edited for cohesiveness. When I write up my review on LT I think I‘ll give this 3 stars (out of 5). Also includes 👇

ValerieAndBooks Cont‘ a handful of recipes with whiskey in them; a couple I‘d like to try eventually. 3y
