Undercover Duke | 
pickA decent choice for some light reading. The duke in question needs to find out if Lady Eustace murdered his father, and pretends to court her daughter as a means to question the mother. The daughter has had a longstanding crush on said duke, there are a bunch of machinations, they‘re caught in a compromising position and marry. Mystery ends up solved, everyone is happy in the end. Part of a series, I picked up what I‘d missed. Entertaining.

He is a Duke with an estate that‘s hemorrhaging money, but he doesn‘t want to marry.She has loved Sheridan, but in the effort to hide her feelings now everyone believes she loves another man.
Sheridan is still investigating who killed his father, the ongoing mystery throughout this series. Vanessa is using jealousy to get Sheridan to notice her as a woman.
pickWhile trying to discover if Lady Eustace murdered his father, Duke Armitrage finds himself in a compromising position with her daughter. The daughter may have tried lead this on. This leads to marriage and still the mystery. Pretty classic historical romance. I would have liked a little more relationship development between the two. A little steamy. Strong heroine and brooding Duke. Thanks #NetGalley for the #ARC out later this month.
Waiting for someone in the car with a book is such a peaceful way to read. I guess because there are no real distractions and you have no other obligations but to wait. 😊
