Read this as part od #bookspinbingo. I love her series with Tamara Hayle. At the beginning I wasn‘t really sure about the whole supernatural aspect in the story and having read it now, I kind of feel like there was no need for it. The characters are good, there are interesting side-stories (the cakes!), so in my opinion this would have worked without the glimmer.

A beautifully written mystery with deep emotion and compassion.Odessa Jones is a new realtor following her husband's death. In the office Odessa's co-workers include some who are friends, some aloof, some mean-spirited,especially her boss Charlie Risko. Then Charlie is shot in his office and a coworker is arrested for the murder. Odessa also has a supernatural ability to read emotions but can it protect her? tw domestic abuse.
