pickThis was a hard book to like or pick due to the sheer brutality. I picked it because of its final message and because it was well-written. Trigger warnings: rape of children and adults, abuse, terror as a weapon of war, mutilation of corpses., children as soldiers. Now I need something lighthearted to recover.
I'll probably return to this at some point, but it's way too brutal for me right now.
Just got back from the dojo, now it's time to get some reading done! So far, this book is rather intriguing. :)
Today's book choice. Very few people have read it on here, but I'm hoping it will be good. From the description, it's basically about human\alien interactions on an alien-controlled world.
