The Kingdom of Novus Aitus was a Kingdom forged from fear. The tyrant Queen Mala was on the throne and using her influence and power to slaughter those she deemed a threat to the Tenebris monarchy. This included the Keepers of Light and Shadow, the descendants of a powerful group of magical beings from their ancestor's homeworld of Aitus. With the Tenebris rulers seeming to succeed in the genocide of humans and Keepers alike, the planet had all but lost hope. That was until a quiet young blacksmith from Reika, named Mercy Validus, was discovered to be the last known Keeper of Light. With his secret out, Mercy must now find a way to free his people before Queen Mala and her Unity Council can cause any more damage. With the help of his best friend, Sylas Bellator, and an unlikely ally from the capital of Ozra, Mercy must master his Keeping of the Light Source and learn to accept his gifts.
