This one was a little scattered. I just didn't enjoy it as much as the other ones. Some of the stories were interesting enough, but overall, it was disappointing.

A solid volume, though probably my least favorite so far. I‘m not a huge fan of Yuri and he‘s in this one a lot. However, Anya is adorable and hilarious as always. 3.5⭐️

I think this is the end of the road for me and Spy Family….unless someone can tell me it gets better from here.

Bookwomble I haven't read it, but if you've stuck it out to volume 5, I'd d6ay you've given it plenty of opportunity to engage you, so... 1y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @Bookwomble True, must admit I do it for brain exercise, also….it‘s so good to read right to left after a lifetime of reading left to right. I like to trick my brain with it. Lol 1y

Bit more plot heavy, not so much space given to cute or funny moments in this volume, but I'm still happy to follow these characters along on their shenanigans.

Robotswithpersonality Anya's school friend having a crush on Anya's 'Dad', at her age, 😬... I know heteronormative media pushes the idea of romance on girls when they're very young, and so this is both realistic of and reinforcing that mess, but it still makes me uncomfortable having the pint-sized one say 'he's hot' 1y

Full disclosure I think Yor‘s brother is a creeper. Ick to the max. With that said I love this series and these characters (not Yuri though 😝) Anya is once again outshining the rest for me. Still a really good storyline.

The issues/volumes that feature Yor's brother Yuri are not my favorite. He's a jerk, and his obsession with his sister is creepy. As if one obsessive character wasn't enough, we are given a character who is passionately in love with Loid Forger, aka Twilight. This is drama I could live without. So, not my favorite installment of the series, and a bit disappointing after volume 4.
