Pickpick

Many of Philip Wylie's works were the inspiration for beloved comic book heroes like Superman, Captain America, and the Human Torch. In classic comic book fashion, victory ultimately came by punching the bad guys in the face - but man, was it satisfying. Loved the prose and steady building of tension/despair as well. 4🌟

"Within the triangle that is formed by Ceylon, Tasmania, and Madagascar, on a pitch-black night, shortly before the turn of the last century, a steam yacht beat its way against massive seas."

I'm nearly done with this castaway saga and eager to know how it ends!
