Shane‘s writing is honest and witty. It was interesting to hear about his early years and his interactions with others, including other people with disabilities. My favorite part was the last few chapters where he shared the work of his charity. Shane has inspired such hope in others and modeled the benefit of being positive. I don‘t normally read non-fiction, but I‘m glad I read this one.

Reading for a work book club. Our Disability Business Resource Group hosts a book club discussion twice a year. It‘s a great way to learn about disabilities and have honest discussions. I just started this book, but Shane has a great writing voice, very witty.

Pretty good. It was much better than I was expecting. Fairly funny and definitely honest.
