Tobin, a gamer and comedian, wishes his parents would accept his career while Lily strives to be a top beauty influencer as revenge for being snubbed from the popular crowd in high school. Predictable & with characters that aren‘t always likable, I just didn‘t really like this one despite the diverse cast.
pickI picked this up from the library because it looked light and easy and I wanted to enter the winter reading program raffle. I read it in one sitting and found the take on influencer life interesting. This definitely can stand alone but seemed like it was also set up for a series and I liked the friend group enough to pick up another book in this world.
