Mehso-so

A fun read. I'm always chasing scary or disturbing books. This didn't hit the mark, fear wise but the gorey descriptions were great. Not too much, not too little.
I found the ending a bit meh but over all I would recommend this book.

A rather horrific holiday read- this is a fast-paced and gory read bringing together DC Jerry Pardoe and DS Jamila Patel for the third time. When squatters camps turn deadly, it soon becomes clear that there may be something more supernatural behind the sudden violence. With ties to an ancient god, cannibals and diabolical WWII plans, this makes for a surprising & exciting read! I‘m looking forward to catching up on this duo‘s earlier adventures!

As a horror fan, I'm ashamed to admit I've never read Graham Masterton before. The Shadow People has left me wanting to read more by him though.

Warning: This book is a gore fest full of triggers, so it is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Masterton delivers a heart-pounding, action packed story that involves a ritualistic cult, who also happen to be cannibalistic. Perfect Halloween read. 🎃
