April has been a long year and some shitty things have happened that have set me back, but I remembered my bestie bought me this book long ago! I needed something to feel strong again, to accept myself for who I am, and this book is chapter after chapter of ‘you are you, and that is beautiful.‘

I‘m not a huge advocate for self-help books but lately I‘m loving the more real, less scientific ones.

Of the four books I was reading, NONE of them was holding my attention. I know it can't be the books' fault, but I am scrapping them all and starting over because I am just so frustrated. I don't know what is wrong with me. I would love suggestions. I am usually not this moody.

Owlizabeth When I feel like that, I usually turn to a “comfort” read, reread a favorite just to get back in the swing of reading something I love. Hope this helps! And you find your perfect book!! 5y

DebinHawaii I got "Itinerant Book Borrower"--I agree with loving to borrow books & not being able to read them fast enough & having so many to-reads at home--but I disagree with forgetting to return my friends books--I always return borrowed books--friends & library on time even if not always read. ? 8y

booksandsympathy Mine says I'm a scattered dabbler who doesn't finish her books. That's not true at all. 8y
drokka I got 'Scattered Dabbler'. For a publishing house they seem to have a pretty myopic view of readers. 8y
