pickBook 1 in the Dr. Evan Wilding series. I read several reviews that thought this was too detailed and sort of a Dan Brown-like serial killer thriller, but it worked for me. I loved all of the info on runes, Vikings, and bog bodies. (Bog bodies are so interesting!) I thought I had the killer figured out and I was wrong. The second book is on my sooner rather later TBR. #SeriesLove2023

This was a smart book that read like watching a movie and kept me guessing until the end! The characters were great, well developed, perfectly flawed, and interesting. The plot was enthralling, and the Viking history, semiotics, and lore were fascinating! This is the first in a brilliant new series that is sure to be a success!
