pickThis book was adapted from a series of lectures—a sort of defense of the imagination as a vital source of understanding. Guite examines Christian Scripture and art (poetry, paintings, and more) as he explores the role of the imagination for the Christian artist. There were so many excellent passages throughout—the scholarship and wisdom of this volume was inspiring. This was my November #BookSpin (catching up on those reviews!)
