This was a psychological thriller. The chapters just run on and on. This isn‘t the first book I‘ve read where the character(s) are completely obsessed with their social media brand. I sure hope the world doesn‘t make this a reality. Living in a delusional, narcissistic, egotist way to get all the likes is no way to live.
I only made it through 3 chapters of the tagged book and less than 2 of the other one. The first was confusing, the second was immature and I was not in the mood to see if they got better.
Not sure how I felt about this one. A bit Ingrid Goes West and Last Night in Soho combined. It was an intriguing story but a bit predictable and I'm not sure it was saying anything new but it was absorbing.
While the message is clear, the writing itself is terrible. It felt like the author was trying to bring up so many current happenings that it just made it unlikeable.

So this is next up in my queue for the #Marchreadathon. It was just published and the audiobook caught my eye on Audible because it was only $1.99 with the Kindle unlimited book. Well see if it's money we'll spent but I'd pay $2.00 for any book I haven't already read.
I am still digesting this book. It is a tough read (content note: sexual assault, discussions of disordered eating, violence. The story isn‘t quite what I expected and the ending fell fell a bit flat, but a solid debut novel otherwise.
