I picked up another dark comedy. This one is about a British female serial killer who is going through a difficult time after the death of her father. Some of her antics include her sitting through a grief therapy group, while a body festers in her home. I am excited to see where this is going and there hasn't been one British dark comedy that I haven't enjoyed. So pleased to have found another author to add to my roster of TBRs.

This book was hilarious. I LOL 'd throughout the entire story and it was a wild ride to listen to. My only complaint is the very ending, but I still laughed my way through that too. Great read! ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫

Got this one as soon as it was released. So far, is captivating. Maya, a Princeton grad, returns to Princeton for the annual alumni event with hopes to spend time with her sister. Naomi, Maya's sister and Princeton student, is late to meet Maya at the event and Maya's determined to figure out what's happened. Excited to find out what's going to happen!!

This is hilarious so far! I am listening to it on audio and the narration is spot on! I'm a big fan of British authors and narrators. I've found myself laughing out loud throughout the first 10 chapters. The premise is excellent too. I can't wait to see how everything turns out. I've not read anything by this author before, but I'm excited to continue reading her works! #Whatawaytogo #weekendreads #newrelease #mustread

Wow, this book was a lot. 6 wannabe celebs are stuck on a deserted Island all in hopes of winning a half a million dollars as constants on the new hit reality show, Iconic. What could go wrong? Apparently a lot, by the finale one contestant is dead and the others are all suspects. I liked this book a lot and I actually think it would make a great movie, but the pace was slow and I really just wanted to figure out who the culprit was. 🌟🌟🌟✨

I picked this one up after reading, The Hunting Wives, by Cobb, which was a sexy, guilty pleasure thriller. I've been having a #bookhangover from #OurKindofGame, so I've been hoping for another great read, and so far this is tickling my fancy! 😉 Will update with final thoughts.

Getting into this because Cobb's new novel, #thehollywoodassistant, was released today and I heard that if you liked this book you'll like her next one. At first, I was getting bored because it was a lot of chaos and typical women behaving badly, but now things are getting serious and I'm loving the twists and turns! Will update when complete.

Out this Tues, #OurKindofGame, just knocked my socks off!!! This is a Must Read. It has so many important implications about the cost of motherhood, privilege, and women devoting their lives to benefit family. Stella seems to have it all. Accomplished former lawyer, mother of two and dedicated wife to her handsome husband Tom, but nothing ever is really what it seems. This is not your typical thriller! MUST READ!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 #GoodreadsARC

I like this author, so I was immediately drawn to this book. The problem for me was the pace. It was very slow paced and I really had to force myself to stay committed to finishing the book. In the last 25% things started picking up and I enjoyed the end quarter of the novel.🎆🎆🎆

Thank you #NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my finish opinion.

This book was a fun read. Hannah, a lost 30-something millennial, is looking for love in all the wrong places. She continually finds the wrong type of guy to date and becomes fixated on them. After being ignored by her latest obsession, she begins writing angry hate letters to a serial killer she saw in the news. She's very surprised when he writes get back. This book has a lot of LOL moments, it's a fun read. 🌟🌟🌟✨

I really enjoyed this read! It's got so many layers and you see the story from multiple different perspectives. I usually don't read horror, but this really engaged me. The part I loved most about it was all the different types of writing used to add depth to the story. It was part audiobook, part screenplay, part poem, part novel and it's all very engaging. I really liked it and horror is not my usual preference. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I really enjoyed this audiobook! I loved hearing about the different men that Gwen encountered on the dating app 'Connected' and how things went south with each of them. I did figure out the culprit very quickly into the story by a simple progress of elimination, but it was still fun guessing how it would end and it was a very engaging listen. I loved the narrator and the story was fun, exciting, and definitely entertaining!🌟🌟🌟🌟✨It's a winner!

I'm getting to the end of this on audio and it has been an absolute pleasure to read/listen to. It is lol funny, clever, and an all around a page turning mystery! I have loved hearing about each date that Gwen, the MC, went on and how each man subsequently reached their untimely death. Still some loose ends to tie up, because I don't believe the current red herring of an ending. Excited to see how it's all ends. I have a few suspicions. Let's see!

I really loved this book. I have been a fan of Hepworth for a while now, but it's so obvious from this novel that her writing has developed to a whole new dimension. The characters were loveable and relatable. I loved Norah, Alicia, and Jessica each for different reasons. I also loved to hate Mrs. Fairchild. The book is fast paced and keeps you engaged by switching back and forth in perspectives and the evening is PERFECT. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was lucky to get this as an #ARC from #NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. What can I say, this is a drama packed book! It's not really a thriller but more of a domestic suspense but some parts of it triggered me. Especially, the relationship between Daphne and Jackson... Toxic isn't a strong enough word. Still, I love a good real housewives she drama every now and then and this fit the bill. ⭐⭐⭐✨

The characters were delectably hateable and it touched on some seriously intense issues tw: child abuse (don't want to spoil it), but it was done in such a way that it ended up satisfying. Definitely would be a good book club read. The twists in the end will give you whiplash and I loved the nod to Edgar A Poe. ⭐⭐⭐✨

Read this one immediately after it came out but it missed the mark a little imo. Rosie and Chad are happily married artists. Chad is a soon to be famous actor and Rosie is a writer. Currently listening 🎧 to this on audio. I've gotten really engaged in Lenna and Rihannon's relationship and the hold that Rihannon seems to have over Lenna. Some of it seems a little implausible, as Lenna has left her family home and husband to go off into the desert with Rihannon but I'm hoping for enlightenment on this. I picked this up specifically because Brittney Presley is the narrator. Excited to see what's next!

I really enjoyed this New release from Michaelides. The narrator takes us on a journey that is part theater and part memoir. I really didn't expect a lot that happened. it was pleasantly surprising. The only thing I can complain about is that the narrator telling the story made the action less palpable somehow. It didn't seem exciting even the content was.. I loved the premise of this book; it fell a little short for me. A women's secret society is a great start, but the secrets they were hiding were a bit cliche for my taste. In a book that's meant to encourage girl power, the stereotypical viewpoint of the women irked me. And the end didn't work for me at all, it was just so rushed and unrealistic. it just wasn't as interesting or fresh as I had hoped. Soft pick. ⭐⭐⭐✨
