While “Pretty as a Personality” may work in life, it does not in books.
This was really disappointing from this author. I wish the Dead Girl was the narrator. Sad. 😔
This book makes as much sense as its cover art. 😫

The first memoir of 2024
⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5️⃣. An easy read with a powerful payoff.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5️⃣. Beautiful and words for the ugliness of humanity.
⭐️⭐️out of 5️⃣ Folks, it was pretty unpretty.
This was a disappointing execution of a great premise. Similar to the new film “ Saltburn” to the fellow cinema watchers on here. Sigh

The type of love I never want to know 💀. As Wilder‘s friend Harper aptly puts it: ‘books are cages for monsters‘, and this monster will lull you into a false sense of security, play with you, betray you, and just when you think you finally have it beat, it will pull you down into the depths of hell with it.
Dark. Daring. Delightful.
This was quite entertaining and went well with my treadmill time. While I did guess the killer, it was a very solid story development.
A low key banger. I‘m officially ready for Spooky Season.
The ending wasn‘t all it could be, but it‘s pretty entertaining as an overall read.
