Pickpick

This book was focused on explaining the history of slavery from around 3000 BCE to today. It's as visually stunning as it is horrifying. It connects to you through specific stories of enslaved people in vastly different locations and dates. I definitely recommend for someone whose only heard about one or two specific histories of slavery; it's a fantastic global perspective.
