What do you do with a four-thousand-dollar album? You play it. ‘Absolutely. I don‘t understand people who can buy really expensive records and never touch them. To me it‘s the same as having a first-edition book: you‘ve got an artifact from the time that it was made, and to me it‘s got a lot more presence. You‘re hearing it the way somebody would have heard it at the time, albeit on a much better stereo.‘
