pickI‘m surprised by the lower rating for this on Goodreads bc this was a really good read. Three wives & mothers receive a letter that their husbands committed a sexual assault decades earlier. The three women come together to figure out what to do & if any justice can be served. I think this is an important read in a post Me Too era. What would you have done if you were one of the women?
so-soI had to fight through most of this one. Good idea, but a little redundant for me.
Currently struggling through this one.. but I‘m more than halfway through, so I‘m hoping I get more into it.
so-soIt is a slow build and provides just enough suspense to keep the reader interested. It does provide various views on the women being forced to see their husbands in a different light. Can they believe that the men they love would commit such a heinous crime? Who can they believe? But the ending just did not work for me.
