Okay, so this book didn‘t necessarily shine in the mystery department but it was a fairly intense ride, nonetheless. I was totally engaged throughout, which was something because I‘ve been dnfing books left and right so far this year. My only issue was the final reveal at the very end, it was a tad unbelievable with how everything played out…but it was easily overlooked in the name of entertainment.

Now this is a predictable thriller, you can work out the main twist from the beginning, but it is so well written & has such pace, that I didn't even care. There is a smidgeon of romance, but the author for the most part focuses on the main plot. Not to say too much about it, but payback's most definitely a bitch in this one. Overall, it has cracking pace & kept me riveted. 4🌟

OutsmartYourShelf My thanks to NetGalley & publishers, BooksGoSocial, for the opportunity to read an ARC. #NetGalley
