“School is a place to learn new things. Schools have friends, teachers, and lots of books,“ said Mama. Fiona liked to learn new things. She liked friends. She liked books too. “I want to go to school!“ shouted Fiona.

This book is great for beginning readers. The illustrations take up a majority of the pages with bright colors. There are other animals present throughout the story and they are illustrated very realistically. The facial expressions are detailed and life-like that make the animals look real inside the book. The illustrations created can tell the story without any words if a child were to just look at the pictures.
