By far my favorite of the series. I have been waiting for these two to get together since the first book. I actually started this last night and I almost stayed up all night to finish it. I reluctantly had to wait until now to finish it.

I loved this book, a G rated romance but I love that the storyline wasn't clean cut and rushed. A lifelong friendship becomes more but even after they fall for each other, they have to grow and evolve separately before the happily ever after. It made the story and characters more real to me. MCs from previous books have continued storylines in later books. Sad to say goodbye to the series and characters. Especially Aunt Trudy who also found love.

I have LOVED this series from start to finish but since this is the final book, I feel like I'm saying goodbye to friends and family. Although they are standalones, I'm so glad that I read them in order: the story behind Paige and Riley has built steadily from book one (tagged 👇🏻).

I love Paige, I love Riley. Riley had trouble adjusting to life after his deployment and injury, and it was tough to read. Glad for the HEA, but it was slow to come.

Just a Kiss will please any reader of contemporary romance looking for a heartwarming read full of authentic, lovable characters, swoon-worthy moments, and encouraging spiritual themes. It's an excellent romance for Riley and Paige (and, finally, Aunt Trudy and Sheriff Colton, too). I loved all of it and easily recommend it, right along with the previous two Summer Harbor novels. (I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.)

Hunter's depth and knowledge of PTSD and the other issues vets deal with was perfect. As Riley and Paige tug of war with their relationship, and the rest of the family work to help Riley find purpose in life, you really get an idea of what families of injured vets deal with.

Reconnecting with this family and town is such a treat! The Callahans are in fine form and taking on new challenges! In taking this journey with Riley through recovery I could relate to his struggle for independence. My CRPS requires me to rely on the support of others and striking the balance is tricky at best. Paige is honest and stubborn, and man, can I see myself in that too! I love how Denise weaves life truths and God wisdom into the story.
