This comic is super pretty, and I love the limited use of color. The story is intriguing and delightfully strange, but the first 60 pages were hard to follow, especially because of confusing speech bubble placement. I was also super distracted by the randomly bold words throughout. If you put emphasis on every bold word the dialogue flows so badly… I probably won‘t read more of this series. #Comic #Magic
I like strange books, and this book did not disappoint. So far in the volume, there are two main characters: the humans and an ancient group of almost godlike beings. One of the beings is in search of human hearts and takes Rebecca's. However, she unknowingly comes from a line of witches and survives (nevermind, that she was born of three mothers). An offshoot of the otherworldly group decides to help her. This is barely the beginning of the plot.
