I‘m cheating a little on this answer. This isn‘t the last book I bought. However, it‘s the next book I‘m buying. I ordered it several days ago from the bookstore, and I expect they will have it in pretty soon.

I started reading it on Libby a while ago, but I realized it has a lot of “exercises” that were awkward to do in that format. I finally got around to ordering my own physical copy! It‘s probably even more relevant these days.

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

I‘ve had these two on hold for 3 months now, will be many more months (on Libby) I don‘t know my way around Libby but so far it‘s dang busy. Oh well.

AmandaBlaze Most libraries let you have ecards even if you don't live in the system. For example, I have 7 ecards to various libraries in my home state of Ohio. It kinda levels the Libby hold system because you have more chances to finding the books available on the different systems. 1y
Ladygodiva7 @AmandaBlaze That‘s good to know! How do you get an ecard? This is on my regular library card. 1y
AmandaBlaze @Ladygodiva7 Apply for a card through the library's website. Some will send you a physical card that you can enter on Libby. Others just email you the barcode and pin. 1y
Ladygodiva7 @AmandaBlaze 🤍Thank you! 1y

I woke up late this morning and had to scramble to get to my aquatics class, and I‘ve been behind all day. Anyway, without further adieu…
1. There are many possibilities here, but I think a book on finances would have been very helpful. Tagged book might have made me 🤯 but in a good way?
2. It depends on the friend!
3. I‘d love to hang out with Val McDermid. She seems cool, and she has a wonderful accent. #wondrouswednesday

I heard an interview with the author and knew I needed to read this book. When I borrowed it from Libby, I saw that it came with questions and exercises, so I plan to get my own copy. #financerelated #maymontage

CollapsingLibrary I didn‘t realize her book was out already. I followed her podcast when she first started it and loved her! 2y

I have followed Tori Dunlop on Social Media and was always impressed with her ability to shake the social norms that exist in our society around money. I was so excited to pre-order this! When it arrived today I could not wait to dive in! Through chapter 1, and I am loving it! I recommend this to EVERYONE! This is more than a financial book. This book is a kick in the nuts to the oppressive patriarchal society and I am hear for it!
