This was an amazing book. Uncle Henry teaches his niece and nephews the constellations from his lake beach, drawing in the sand and using pebbles for stars. The children have fun learning and finding star people. Then in the winter Uncle Henry goes to their apartment and teaches them more using a chalkboard on the roof. I like the stories and pictures. I have the 1928 book.

The writing was fine, but the plot felt incomplete, especially the ending. I was into this book but wasn‘t satisfied with how it ended. It felt unfinished to me.

Forgot to post this book! It was a very good read and I wish I could retain the information I read and use it in the real world. I mostly remember “mirroring” and “how can I do that?” in negotiations. I need to read it again, absorb it more because holidays interfere with my readings 🤪
Read it 11/19 to 12/22.
I enjoyed reading this version of financial help and the sprinkling of Bible verses throughout. The true stories from people making it out of debt and into better lives was inspiring.
Now to get my husband to get on board and pay the house off 15 yrs earlier…..hmph.

This book is so SO good!! I want to recommend it to everyone! I love how it‘s spelled out. We are here to spread the good news about Jesus. He created every single one of us for his purpose. He wants all of us to join him in Heaven. Have faith, believe in Jesus, accept him into your hearts. What have you to lose?

Picked this book from Amazon First Reads to read on the flight back from my cruise. It is so-so, more fantastical than real.
Not as good as Bride but still a fun read. Took a while to finish, with my cruise starting tomorrow and my mother in law breaking her hip this past Tuesday…she‘s successfully recovering now.

The premise was good but then got real slow and I read a different book in the middle of it. Went back to this book and finally finished it, and I wanted a different ending.

A coworker gave me this book, it was her son‘s. I was in the mood for a quick read and this was handy. The main character who is 15 got on my nerves a little with her anxiety and I felt bad for her boyfriend who seems like a good guy. Then it ended with a cliffhanger. There‘s 5 more books in a series. So much for a quick read lol.

Such a great book!!!!! Finished it in Aruba, I read most of it on the plane to Aruba and then quick read the rest in the mornings before my friends woke up. So good!
I‘ve been on a “reading financial books” kick this past year, they‘re so interesting, I‘m already knowledgeable in most of it but finding out my bank only gives me 0.01 percent in interest for my money when there‘s banks out there giving 1.00 percent APY…I need to shop around for a new bank!!

Delightful 3rd book in the Howl‘s Moving Castle series.
Almost as delightful as the first book! I still liked it a lot.
This was a fascinating book on money from the Christian view, it is a map on how to save up money, pay off debts, and invest wisely. The Bible is quoted throughout the book, I learned there‘s 2,350 verses on how to handle money and possessions. Jesus Christ talked about money than almost any other subject. He knew money would be a challenge for all of us, and He cared enough to show us how to handle it wisely.

Rachel gives all good advices on how to be successful towards your dream(s), she shares her journeys, experiences & being relatable on a daily basis.
Rachel is super ambitious and has the gift of gab whereas I‘m the complete opposite. Good for her!
A thought provoking book on how the writer got himself wealthy, he started learning financial intelligence at age 9 by his bff‘s rich dad while being raised by his own career-driven dad who‘s a doctor and still doesn‘t have enough money to get out of the rat race.

This book was hard to get into and it finally got interesting 3/4 in. I‘ve put this book down and read 4 other books until I picked it up again and finished it.
I mostly enjoyed this large tome with the exception of Edward worrying about his stalking Bella/refusing to turn her into a vampire, only because I wanted him to!
My dumb ass thought this Edward POV covered the whole series but it only covers Twilight, from his POV. If you didn‘t know that, you‘re welcome.
It took me a while to get into this book (I was working too much) and it didn‘t draw me in right away. Very wordy! Lots of big words that would piss my husband off lol. Then it turned into a Stephen King horror and I really enjoyed it.
The lovely bush behind the book is called “Karen Azalea,” so beautiful when it blooms.
A lean Henry Cavill is who I pictured as Roark and Stana Katic as Eve Dallas *swoon* love these two characters!

I really enjoyed reading this book! I too have an affinity for insects and critters (except for mosquitoes) and can‘t kill any of them (except for mosquitos!) 🦟 🍄🟫 🦅 🐞🕷️
Got this book from my dad at Christmas, he got it from an estate sale for a couple bucks. Well Jan 8 Bella was probably mad she couldn‘t read it so she tore it up good. I‘ve set it aside for months and just now finished reading it. I recommend this book to young adults starting out their life. It‘s informative and resourceful financially, and they‘ll finish ahead on the wealthier side.

Highly propulsive and descriptive read where a young man gets swallowed by a whale and fights to get out of it alive while looking for his dad.

I‘m not a winter person and this book is about changing your mindset about winter and the cold. Dress appropriately and enjoy winter activities and make winter cozy indoors and out. It also makes me want to visit Tromsø, Norway & Iceland, I want to experience their culture and see the Northern Lights.
Also sauna, hot-water bathing & cold-water swimming are mentioned and I‘d love to try them all!
Tried this creamer and it was delicious.
What an awesome book!!!!!!!! I never heard of this, found it in 1,000 Books to Read Before You Die by James Mustich couple yrs ago and finally checked it out. 5 stars. Now I want to read all her books and watch the movie.
