The Crooked Little Pieces: Volume 2
The Crooked Little Pieces: Volume 2 | Sophia Lambton
1 post | 1 read
Mind the gap between youths pedestal and looming adulthood. Two years have passed since Anneliese and Isabel braved the bombardment of the Blitz. Risks are resumed and revelations rattle as the past begins to rear its ugly head. Suffering sends Isabel on downward spirals; Anneliese falls victim to societys expectations. Skeletons come tumbling from Susannas closet and for some the sex-and-death divide grows thinner. Spying on the escapades of the sororal van der Holts, The Crooked Little Pieces: Volume 2 invites you to encounter more of Anneliese and Isabel than they know of themselves. Self-recognition is discomfiting. And we have only just begun.

Pickpick

A continuation of Annaliese and Isabel‘s life journey from getting married to stillborn baby, from studying to becoming a teacher. Nothing short of excitement as both their lives go the opposite way even though they are twins. Like any other series, it slows down in book 2, paving way to book 3 which I hope will be more exciting! Thanks to the author for this lovely e-ARC 🫰🏻
