so-soThree Queer couples spend Christmas to New Year‘s together in a converted farmhouse in upstate New York. This was an overwhelmingly detailed and uncomfortable book. Not due to queerness, but because the main character, Sasha is so awful and up her own butt. There‘s some interesting commentary on the performative aspects of gender and femme vs butch lesbianism, but not enough to counteract the self absorption and superficiality of the rest of it.

pickWhoa! What a wild ride😅 I was completely out of my depth but consumed by the DRAMA unfolding between three lesbian couples who spend the Christmas holiday together. Like watching a Real Housewives reunion, this book was super entertaining but at some point it all goes south. One part was a bit too graphic ( for me) and the aftershocks became the catalyst for some real melodrama that I found more grating than gratifying. #ALC #NetGalley #TryIt
