Shattered Sea
Shattered Sea | Catherine Cowles

Ive known every kind of pain. Of the heart. Of the body. Of the soul. All I want now is the freedom that comes from making my art. The last thing I expected was Hollywood royalty to waltz into my gallery in a small town in the middle of nowhere and see me. A man like Boden Cavanaugh shouldnt understand me. Shouldnt be able to soothe my most ragged edges. Even worse, he makes me want the one thing I cant have. Him. All it takes is one spark, and friendship catches flame. But as our attraction burns bright, there are forces desperate to send us back into the darkness. And theyve already killed before

After reading several books by Catherine Cowles, you think it would get repetitive but every time she still surprises me. SHATTERED SEA is Laiken and Boden‘s story and was another touching and heartbreaking story I really enjoyed. Another big winner and I can‘t wait to read the last book in the series.

Here is my August Bookspin TBR! With school starting for the kiddos, I can get back to Litsy 😊

I just realized I mixed up the title for #6. It's suppose to be Now I Rise 😅

Book 4 in the Tattered & Torn series - a contemporary suspense romance series revolving around a family in a small town. This was not featuring our main family but Laiken - who was a side character in the previous books and Biden - a movie star who is hiding out in the small town to get a break from the publicity surrounding the death of his girlfriend.⬇️

Nessavamusic There is A LOT going on in this book, almost too much honestly. Frankly this story is borderline bonkers. However, our protagonists are very likable and I did not guess the twist until the very end. Not my favorite in the series, but would still recommend. 3.75⭐️ 2y
