so-soThis Is Salvaged is a collection of short stories all having a central theme of salvaging, making do, and repurposing less than desirable aspects of one's life - relationships, ideas, furniture, etc. Simply put, they're about existing and trying to find beauty and contentment within such an existence even when it would be easier to quit.
I didn't love the book, but I didn't hate it either. My favorite pieces were at pages 93 and 97.
