Pickpick

Vivid, strange, truly scary tale of witchcraft & Hellish creatures inhabiting a community of families in hiding. Young Anna, who may or may not be a witch, is an engaging protagonist finding herself & her power, with the aid of 2 unlikely ghost pals & a squirrel familiar. Not for the faint of heart, but very well-crafted! Stromboli erupting during my recent volcano hike in Sicily seemed a fitting image. #creaturehorror #witchcraft #strongwomen

“It didn‘t take long before I spied the white gleam of the gravestones…” Eerie, well-crafted description is peppered throughout this creepy & strange tale of Anna & her ghostly crew. #horror #goodwriting

Don‘t we all need a headless ghost-girl for a friend? Young Anna, who may be a witch, and may or may not be responsible for her mean father‘s death, is a compelling protagonist with a ghost bff. #amreading #horror #compelling
