Not a fun read at all. It seems like it was cobbled together from notes by someone who doesn‘t read. The hero and heroine meet. 5 minutes later they‘re in love. Blah blah blah. Time travel. The End.
Without a doubt, this is a must read.
Kady, a chef, is about to get married, but cannot find the dress of her dreams, mainly due to being self conscious of her weight. Suddenly, without warning, she slips back in time. Instantly thrust into the enthralling mystery of Cole, a man she saves.
This is a story for anyone who is a hopeless romantic, and a sucker for time-travel. Just as I am.
I am by no means a "romance" reader, yet I thought I would give it a try. I was getting to about half way through this one and starting to feel like my brain was going to freeze up on me. All of a sudden, the story changed direction and I am now totally sucked in! I am so glad I stuck this one out. I will most certainly read more of Jude Deveraux
The Goodwill near me has such a great big book selection. All paperbacks are only $.99. I only spent $7.00 on this haul. What to Expect When Your Expecting goes out in the mail for my daughter👶. Not a great picture, but I am in the garage. LOL
Going back to one of my favorites from Jude Deveraux - the book equivalent of comfort food.
