„Easy intimacy. Connection, in one form or another.“
I think this might be my favorite book from the king series. I identify so much with Sloane. Finally a book which describes a connection with someone build on trust and same life experiences/traumas. A true love based on revealing ourselves, our fears, letting someone actually in your HEART & SOUL.
In this book, an exceedingly charming and somewhat shrouded-in-mystery hero finds that he has developed feelings for a highly motivated and enterprising heroine. The mood impressed me, as Huang interlaced just the right hints of snappy humor and heart-warming sentimentality to keep the storyline engaging.....

Another solid read by Ana Huang. This is book 4 in the Kings of Sin series and tells us about rich playboy Xavier and his publicist, Sloane. Xavier is jolted out of his usual lifestyle when his dad dies and he has to prove himself to earn his inheritance. It brought in alot of the couples from previous books which was nice to see. A good beach read. #SummerReading.
Also spent the morning at the Farmers market today! It was nice to be able to sit in the grass and read while eating fresh apple cider donuts! 🤤🍎
