I learned so much from this biography of Mary Shelley. I knew some things about her life going in, but I had no idea just how sad her life was 😢

I‘m still glad I read it, though, and the authors did a great job of making the content very readable and engaging. Highly recommend this one if you‘re interested in learning more about Mary and/or Percy Shelley. 💯

Most of the information in this book can be found in other biographies. There were some interesting bits of information, like the modern version of vampires came from the same ghost story contest as Frankenstein, and is based on Lord Byron. It's a really interesting book, and a good starting point if your unfamiliar with this clique of Romantics.

Book four of Halloween reading. Today we are waiting on rain, the first day of five days of rain. And our temps are starting to feel more like Autumn.
