pickI was hooked by the plot &how well White wove so many POVs 2 tell a story. Jane a cold case det. lands a case of some bones found under an old chapel. Signs point to a teen, Annalise, who disappeared in 1976. We‘re sucked into the lives of the Shoreview Six, Annalise‘s friends, though no longer close, hold many secrets about the night she disappeared.
There was a good balance between the police procedural & the unraveling of the Shoreview Six.
