panI suppose you could say I sometimes read classics just to say I‘ve read them and it definitely was the case this time around. Perhaps if I was 14 years old in 19th century America, this would speak to me, but I‘m afraid at this distance and life stage, it‘s more of a curiosity of history. I don‘t have much to say about it other than it can be a long slog of dialect, racist themes and cartoonish antics. Relating to any characters is impossible.
