Pickpick

Read this book after enjoying the movie and I must say, it is much better. A lot gets lost in the movie, such as the true meaning of being someone‘s Tearsmith or understanding the trauma behind Rigel and Nica‘s personalities. The book has a gloomy atmosphere that goes great with the story. I liked how we end up knowing the aftermath of it all but I do think the story dragged way too long and more editing could have been done to shorten it. 4⭐️

This is a gothic, coming of age, at times dark romance. There is a lot here and honestly whilst I managed to inhale this one...it could've been a wee bit shorter...this is a translation of an Italian read I believe? The writing is beautifully done...
