I have never been a fan of real-life stories because I had the idea that they were boringly written. I bought this book to support the author but it was actually a great read!! It is easy to read and it keeps you engaged the entire time. It is a page turner for sure. I feel for Anna. I‘m so glad at the very least she now has a loving family 🫶.

This story tells the story of Chaol and Nesryn when they are in the southern continent. If you are considering the tandem read, DO IT! TOD goes away from the main plot slightly and it would be hard to read on its own after the end of EOS. The book was still good but some chapters were hard to get through, and overall not as good as the rest of the series thus far. There are a lot of new characters introduced. I rate it a generous 4/5⭐️.

My heart is currently shattered by this ending. I am so glad I am doing the tandem read or I would not endure reading book 6 after this. I guess these things are what make a good book too, but it HURTS!!! The book was magnificent, a lot gets unfolded here. Poor Aelin is such a warrior. I would bow to her ruling any day. Long live queen Aelin! Her court starts taking shape & a lot of unpredictable things occur. These books just get better.

Have been waiting for all that goes on in this book for a long, long time, and SJM delivered!!! This is the best one yet from the TOG series. More there is to come and cannot wait to see how it develops. Again I must say Aelin is one of my role models, my hero.

Awesome, awesome book! A lot happens on this one: A lot of character development, history, plot build up for what is to come on the next book. I‘m scared for what will go down but yet excited. TOG is such a magnificent story, and I cannot help but look up to the main character, draw parallels between her challenges and mines, and use her bravery as encouragement to keep going and NOT BE AFRAID.

Reading this book 3rd is the definition of dating someone who you know will break your heart. I still don‘t regret reading it third though, otherwise Idk if I would have had it in me to like other new characters and continue on with the series. This is a great book. You get to know Celaena and what led her to become who she is in book 1. I do not think I will forget its last chapters any time soon. It made me appreciate my life and those I love.

The book was okay. If anything I found it inspirational and motivating. It describes great leaders and it is a good book to gain insight on how to become a good one. It pushes you and gives you some tips on how to become disciplined but it dragged in a many areas and there weren‘t explicit strategies.

What a fantastic book. Wow. The kind of book where you suspect something, and that thing does happen, but in a way that it still surprises you, still a triumphant badass moment. She keeps saying “I am not afraid” to trick herself into not being, but girl, I want to be as brave as you. You re my role model to take on the world!

A book that almost everyone should read at least once, but wouldn‘t hurt to read several. It has numerous strategies to build better habits and break bad ones. I hope to make the best out of them.

I loved this book. I must say it did not affect me much emotionally, but I was hooked from the start. It was hard to put down throughout. It had my heart feeling like it was about to skip a beat at one point but it still lacked that huge emotional impact that characterizes SJM. I think I loved it most because of the story plot, and feeling like I relate to the main character‘s personality, or at least she reflects how I want to be:sweet and fierce

This is a great book to analyze those habits we have that are preventing us from reaching our next goals, then adjust them into allowing us to succeed in those goals instead. I loved the most how the author goes into the research and multiple life examples of people whose present habits or habit changes made a huge difference in their successes.

What a great book! It took me the first few chapters to get into it but soon enough it became a page-turner. Many of the things that happen, you see them coming, and it actually complements the book well. I resonate with the meaning behind this book a lot at the moment while looking back to some letters I wrote when was a little girl and the person I have become now. I think anyone would resonate with it in their own personal way.

What a wholesome ending 🥰. I must say I did not love most of this book. I really disliked Nesta and although it is hard for me to justify her behavior at the start, I forgive her, she redeemed herself better than I believed possible. I like the Nesta at the end of this book. Besides that, the smut was a little too much for me, and too graphic😂. The book was slow until about 80%, but that last 20% is for sure worth the read. Lastly, Valkyrie 🫶.

This book is what I expected, a transition between ACOWAR and what is to come in ACOSF, some peace after the war, the calm after the storm, or before? Only I will know after I finish ACOSF. It does not keep you as engaged as the others but I still think is worth to read as part of the series. Despite the story line, it also has some pretty interesting scenes 😉. Also, a great read around the holidays, since it takes place during Winter Solstice.

What in the Cauldron! I can‘t decide between ACOWAR and ACOMAF, amazing in a similar but different way. It took me through a rollercoaster of emotions that I did not believe were possible. I stopped to analyze at some point if Sarah Maas is on an attempt to cause heart attacks on her readers, she does take you to WAR. Simply a fantastic work. I am truly amazed!!

I have never been obsessed with a book or its characters until this one. I cannot even fully explain, this book has taken over my entire thoughts for the past days, and now that is finished, I cannot wait to read the next. Marvelous work from the author. If you did not love the first book, trust me, this one will not disappoint. It is a story full of emotion, of all kinds, fantastic characters, incredible scenes, captivating action.

I enjoyed the book, although the middle was really slow, I became hooked at about 70%. However, I am still not too crazy about it. The story was different, there is fantasy and adventure. The romance built weirdly and almost expectedly. There are some interesting characters but overall the book seemed lacking and left me wanting more. I would have enjoyed it more as a movie.

lauramisiara Coming back after reading the second book, and now it all makes sense 😌. 100% pick!!! And 200% read the next! 5mo

I actually liked this one more than the first (The Housemaid). The beginning was also somewhat slow but it picks up sooner. The twists were interesting and unexpected, pretty hard to guess. Although, some might have opposing views, that is my take. Lastly, the book can stand on its own, but it is a continuation of the first story, and I would still recommend to read The Housemaid first.

The book truly began for me at about 65%. The entire first half is very slow. It does buildup to what comes after but I believe it could have been done in less pages. Most of the first chapters were repetitive in a way and it felt like the book overall was lacking for me. There are twists but no character development.

3/5 ⭐️least favorite of CoHo‘s books so far. The story becomes good towards the end but it is not catching for the majority of it. Main characters are a little too fictional for me. Not sure how it was turned into a series. Not sure what else there would be to write about after the end.

Different, interesting story but did not keep me engaged. The end was underwhelming. Personally not relatable in any way.

Gives the best closure to Lily and Atlas‘s romance while expanding on the aftermath of the divorce with Ryle. There is not too much drama, but it does exactly what it intends to and there are still lots of unexpected and emotional events that characterize CoHo‘s books.

I was not a huge fan at first, characters were a little toxic and I was having too much of it, but I loved the character development. You get to fall in love with the characters by the end of it. A definite slow-burn. It is a beautiful and different story.

Loved this book, almost imposible to put down. For someone who has been around academia, this book was so relatable in many ways which allowed me to connect that much more with the characters. Additionally, it is such a beautiful love story that at the same time can make you laugh. I started reading it during my free time at work and I found myself containing my laugh various times. A fav for sure ❤️.

I was hooked from the start. Hoover has done it again for me. Started today and I am already half way through, it has been one of the hardest books to put down, and one of the best from CoHo so far. Will likely reach the end tomorrow, can‘t wait to see how the story develops.
