Long Time Gone | 
pickFinished yesterday but forgot to post until now because I was preoccupied with today‘s knee surgery. A woman training to be a forensic pathologist learns through DNA that she‘s the infant who went missing 30 years ago. She‘s thrust into a mystery involving her birth family. Chapters are short, the action moves quickly—although some scenarios strain credibility. I guessed some of the ending early on, but there was an extra twist that surprised me.

Amiable @janeycanuck Thanks! Feeling pretty good today. Narcotic pain meds make me sick so I begged the surgeon not to use them in my IV. It makes such a difference when I‘m not spending the rest of the afternoon throwing up! 😖😬 (edited) 4w
