panI liked the idea of this Gothic YA novel set in Regency Era more than the actual novel.
The main character Camille is sent to Yorkshire to stay with her godmother. The godmother's daughter is very ill and Camille's presence will certainly cause trouble. The safest course of action for everyone involved: do not tell Camille what is going on, because then she could act accordingly and the plot would have been 10 pages long.
