I don‘t like being too critical of books - everyone has different tastes and it can‘t be easy to write one . But I make an exception for this - it was truly awful and made me embarrassed to be female 🙈!

#WickedWhispers Day 12: #TheUnknown is explored in the first few sections of the novel with a build up towards unwitting espionage or just a disingenuous interaction of unsympathetic characters leading to dire consequences and what counts for “scandal” in polite and seemingly-elite societies.
