From New York Times bestselling author Joanne Harris comes a richly imagined and captivating novel of two colliding worlds. Hes orphaned, lonely, and lost in his work. He certainly has no intention of falling in love. And yet, love finds him in the shape of beautiful Vanessa, who lives a dangerous double life in the heart of the city. Toms pursuit of Vanessa leads him to discover an alternate world, hiding in plain sight among the streets and rooftops of London. A world unseen by common folk and inhabited by strange and colorful beings, in which two warring factionsone nocturnal, one in the lightwage war for the sake of a long-lost love, which can only end with one sides total annihilation. The Moonlight Market will enchant readers with new worlds and epic romance and in this captivating modern fairytale about what could be hiding in the corner of your eye.

Pickpick

I rather enjoyed this one. It has mixed reviews. It‘s basically about a war between the moths and the butterflies, a fairy story. Love rules all. It feels a little like a young adult book but all in all I thought it was an enchanting read.

Finished this one last night! I loved the idea and the world building but the main character was just so annoying, also the ending felt rushed, so only 3/5⭐️

Bailedbailed

I thought I would love this fable of butterflies and moths, pictures, and memories. I hoped it would be like Night Circus, but it never grabbed me and pulled me in. The main character was annoying, and so was the author writing out his full name at least once per page. This is really disappointing because the plot showed promise. I liked the fabled parts at the beginning of each part.
