Patrick Morris has very strict parents who‘ve gotten even more strict lately. His parents forbid him to join the school band, so he practices the saxophone at Casa Wakefield in his free time. He makes the band but his parents still refuse to let him play. He decides to run away, & Winston & the twins help. Eventually he goes home & learns his dad lost his job, which is why they didn‘t want him joining the band. But all‘s well that ends well in SV.

Patrick Morris‘ parents have always been strict but lately they‘re sterner than ever! He‘s not allowed to have friends over, he has to do 3 hours of schoolwork a night, his allowance is cut & his early curfew means he misses on fun. Plus, he really wants to play the saxophone but his parents say no. Patrick uses the Wakefield‘s shed to practice in secret but the real highlight is Jessica‘s side story of her science project with Winston Egbert!
