This one's up next. Animals solving mysteries is not at all my usual kind of thing, but two friends whose opinions I trust have raved about this one, so I'll give it a try. It's a library book, so there's nothing to lose but a little time.
Fantastic! Quirky, funny, inventive! What happens when you are falsely accused of a murder that happened 25 years ago and the only witness is your childhood best friend? And that friend is a pony? This novel switches between 2 POVs, the MC and her pony. As someone who spent some time with horses as a teen, the pony‘s voice is self centered, a little snarky, and oh so authentic. Highly recommend on #audio, the narrators are spot on! #BookspinBingo

Richard Osman‘s Thursday Murder Club meets The Art of Racing in the Rain in a mash-up of feel-good mystery and a tear-jerking journey for friendship, love, and belonging—all narrated by one very cranky pony.
Perfect for readers of Lessons in Chemistry and Remarkably Bright Creatures…”
