Ready for bookclub. My bibliophile friend and I have read all of Danielle Steels books ...over 164 books over 30 years time. Some books excellent, her nonfiction my favorite !!! Some awful The Klone and I. Some powerful Echos. Some are crazy favorites Zoya and Family Album. All have been an adventure.

I always enjoy a DS book, some more than others. Although I found this book enjoyable, I did not find it compelling. I never had that I can't wait to get back to the book moment nor did I have that just one more chapter of moment ever. I recently read The Right Time, IMO, one of her best books. So perhaps it was just a hard book to follow with Magic. Still worth the read but it just didn't seem to have that Danielle Steel "magic" for me.

😂😂😂😂guilty pleasure- my best friend and I have read every single book Danielle Steel has ever written! She recently has been putting them out at an extremely fast pace, so for Labor Day weekend, I am catching up. Plus it's mindless fun. I love the history she packs in some of her books. My favorite books are her nonfiction ones. The story she wrote about her son is beautiful. Happy reading!

TheHeartlandBookFairy Magic was good but, not very compelling for me. A sweet story. A good story. An interesting story. But I never felt the urgency to get back to the book or felt like I just couldn't put it down. We shall discuss more later smile 😁 7y
