For a Lifetime (Timeless Book #3) | Gabrielle Meyer

Grace and Hope are identical twin sisters born with the ability to time-cross together between 1692 Salem, Massachusetts, and 1912 New York City. As their twenty-fifth birthday approaches, they will have to choose one life to keep and one to leave behind forever--no matter the cost. In 1692, they live and work in their father's tavern, where they must watch helplessly as the witch trials unfold in their village, threatening everyone. With the help of a handsome childhood friend, they search for the truth behind their mother's mysterious death, risking everything to expose a secret that could save their lives--or be their undoing. In 1912, Hope dreams of becoming one of the first female pilots in America, and Grace works as an investigative journalist, uncovering corruption and injustice. After their parents' orphanage is threatened by an adversary, they enter a contest to complete a perilous cross-country flight under the guidance of a daring French aviator. The sisters have already decided which timeline they will choose, but an unthinkable tragedy complicates the future they planned for themselves. As their birthday looms, how will they determine the lives--and loves--that are best for both of them?

Another fantastic book in the Timeless series by Gabrielle Meyer. Timeless is a christian fiction series that follows the lives through a line of Time Crossers. So you get some time travel, interesting time periods and a bit of romance. They live both paths until a special birthday then they must choose which life to stay in. They go to sleep in one life and wake in the next until they decide.

RedxoHearts For A Lifetime is about twins named Grace & Hope. One path they live is 1692 in Salem during the witch trials with an awful father. In that life they are basically the servants and aren't allowed any freedoms. Then the next is New York City in 1912 with their loving parents. They are doing greater things and able to follow their dreams there. 2w
RedxoHearts They both want to stay in 1912 but soon as their final birthday is on the horizon they find out how different life turns out than you planned. I'm one of those people that want a cute happy ever after eventually though and this series delivers. Gabrielle Meyers is very talented at being able to weave these stories together in subtle ways. Libby from book 1 is the grandma of Grace and Hope. 2w
RedxoHearts You could read any of the Timeless series as a standalone. I also really like how much the author studies these unique historical times. She takes time to let you really see a snapshot of the world they are in. I rarely ever read long author's notes but find hers interesting where she talks about her inspirations. 2w

"It was a strange reality to be on the precipice of tragedy and not be able to stop it."
