See Jane Lead
See Jane Lead: 99 Ways for Women to Take Charge at Work | Lois P. Frankel
6 posts | 2 read | 2 to read
The workplace is changing. From the boardrooms to non-profit organizations to the military, the typical male management style is now obsolete. There is a new generation of employees who reject hierarchical leadership and respond to the behaviors and characteristics that women traditionally exhibit. In other words, the time for woment to take charge is now! In SEE JANE LEAD, Dr. Frankel provides a blueprint for women who want to tap their natural leadership abilities and manage with greater ease and confidence in the business world, on the soccer field, at home, and beyond. With the same sharp insight that she demonstrated in Nice Girls Don't Get Rich and Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office, Dr. Frankel shows women how they can overcome sabotaging childhood behaviors that hold them back, while offering practical advice and real-life examples of strong female leaders who have succeeded--in male dominated fields--beyond their wildest dreams.

I liked this book more than her earlier one. I especially liked the real stories of the real women that were told in this one. I felt like I got a lot from this book. I think this is perfect if you need more info about leading, organizing and practical examples involving those.

After reading few worklife and team leading related books I thought that they were pretty useful and fun to read but that I hadn't learned much anything concrete. Then I started to make notes about the books just so I can remember the most important parts of them later on. I wrote 3 pages full of notes in just one go. I realized how much I've learned just from those few small books. I'm so eager to go on now that I see the results. 😊

KateFulfordAuthor Writing notes is a very useful way of clarifying, ordering and layering the detail in your head. 6y
Martta @KateFulfordAuthor True! 😊 I hope it will make me learn the most important parts of the books I've read even better! Usually with novels I don't bother but now that I'm reading for work I think this will help me a lot. 📝 6y

Some more Lois Frankel. I liked her previous book so I decided to read this one as well to get some more good ideas. Already got some good tips on how to make more convincing statements while representing own ideas. 😊

Several managers read this as a group through a previous employer. Dang, I miss that group.
