This is a bonkers YA mystery/thriller! It‘s all about wealth and expectations and privilege and what someone is willing to do to get everything they‘ve ever wanted and make their parents proud. Is it pretty far fetched at times? Yes. Did I still enjoy my time with it? Hell ya! It‘s nothing revolutionary but it‘s definitely a fun ride. 🌟🌟🌟💫

Megan Lally‘s most popular book, That‘s not my name, was just okay to me. I‘m glad I tried her again. I liked this book a lot more. You can see who is probably the driving force but the ending is chef‘s kiss for the story.

I chose this as my most recent #audiobook after really enjoying another book by the same author. Sadly, I quickly realized this wasn't going to hit the same way as its predecessor, and I even stopped reading multiple times thinking I'd just DNF it. But then I'd tell myself I should give it more time. So I did, and while I hated every single character, I didn't end up hating the book itself. Truth be told, the storyline was reasonably decent. ⭐⭐⭐
