People loved this trilogy, and the world building is excellent. However, it didn't quite work for me. I was often bored, and wound up skipping ahead. But I did like the ending.

I've been AWOL for a while settling both my teens into college life.
It's my birthday today, so I'm spending it eating and reading. Finally getting to the final book in The Library trilogy and hope to finish this today 😍

I think some books just work better for me in audio form. This one for example. I enjoyed the third part way more than the previous ones, and I guess it's because I listened to it instead of reading the paper book.
It's a good conclusion of the trilogy. It hurts a little, but this never was a series about the easy parts of life. It was about hurt, loss and grief. So this is an ending I can fully accept the way it is.

A fitting end to a great trilogy. A bit heavy handed at moments, as if the author felt some readers might be too dense to get the message. Of course, considering the world these days, that might be a necessary sentiment. All in all, it did not devolve into a desperate tying up of loose ends that too many final books do, just a few moments to leave the reader realistically stunned. #review #thelibrarytrilogy

Released a couple of days later in the UK 😀
