All my brain has been able to handle this week and it was not a favorite. The action seemed really gratuitous (which I recognize is ironic given the shit I read) but this was really over the top. Also, Peter James is obviously a horny old man. Dude, write to Playboy or something. 😖

MicheleinPhilly @TrishB Bryce Laurent stalks and tortures his ex throughout pretty much the entirety of the book. Grace finally marries Cleo and Sandy shows up at the church but doesn‘t reveal herself. LOTS of talk of hard cocks and being inside of women and just general porny type stuff. 🙄 2y

I‘m interested to know what everyone‘s favourite and least favourite genre of books are? My favourite is thriller/mystery and my least favourite is romance

The_Penniless_Author Based on what I read my favorite would have to be "general fiction" or "literary fiction". I'm not sure that really qualifies as a genre, though. If we're talking about established genres, then probably science fiction/fantasy. Least favorite (at the risk of piling on) is romance. ? 4y

Yuki_Onna I like psychological thrillers, gothic and literary fiction that includes at least a bit of suspense best and cannot do fantasy, romance and anything dystopian or involving politics, religion or torture. 4y

I‘d previously rated Love You Dead, another in the Roy Grace series, one star. However, I found Want You Dead fast paced and exciting with surprises galore! A solid 4 star page turner.
